American Bank & Trust of the Cumberlands

American Bank & Trust of the Cumberlands was established on January 1, 1978, originally operating under the name Dale Hollow Savings and Loan Association Incorporated. It underwent several name changes and regulatory adjustments over the following decades. On January 31, 1987, the institution changed its name to American Savings Bank. By April 28, 1994, American Savings Bank transitioned to a commercial bank and shifted its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), while also limiting its trust powers. The bank rebranded again on January 18, 2002, adopting the name American Bank & Trust of the Cumberlands. The main office was relocated to 800 West Main Street in Livingston, Tennessee, on July 31, 1984.
