America California Bank was established on June 23, 1972, originally under the name Camino - California Bank. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes, including a name change to Camino - California Bank on October 15, 1973, and subsequently to America California Bank on September 2, 1980. The main office of the bank moved multiple times within San Francisco, with significant relocations occurring on September 7, 1982, to 250 Sutter Street, and then on January 5, 1987, to 560 California Street. The bank ultimately merged into First National Bank of Northern California on September 5, 2015, and later merged with Tri Counties Bank in Chico, California, on July 6, 2018.
