Alliance Bank is a financial institution that has undergone several name changes and acquisitions since its establishment. Originally founded as Lake City Bank and Trust Company in 1867, the institution changed its name to Lake City State Bank on March 10, 1947. Subsequent name changes included renaming to American Bank Lake City on July 1, 1994, and then to American Alliance Bank on August 1, 2005, coinciding with the acquisition of American Bank located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on the same date. The bank further solidified its identity as Alliance Bank on February 21, 2007, while also acquiring the Alliance Bank in New Ulm, Minnesota.
