History Of AIMBank
AIMBank, originally established as The First National Bank of Littlefield on September 19, 1925, underwent several significant transformations throughout its history. In 1990, the main office relocated to Main Street in Littlefield, Texas. A pivotal change occurred on July 8, 2003, when the institution adopted the name AIMBank, transitioned to a state-chartered bank, and became regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) after withdrawing from the Federal Reserve System. Over the years, AIMBank expanded its operations through a series of acquisitions, including Muleshoe State Bank in Muleshoe, Texas, in April 2017; Platinum Bank in Lubbock, Texas, in April 2018; and FNB New Mexico in Clayton, New Mexico, in October 2019. The bank later merged with First Bank & Trust in Lubbock, Texas, on December 4, 2020. Ultimately, on May 19, 2023, AIMBank merged into HTLF Bank based in Denver, Colorado.
