History Of Adirondack Bank
Adirondack Bank is a financial institution that was established in 1898 under the name Saranac Lake Federal Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes and shifts in regulatory status. In 1990, it rebranded as Adirondack Bank, A Federal Savings Bank, and transitioned to a stock savings bank. This was followed by another significant change on October 2, 1995, when the institution became known as Adirondack Bank, National Association, and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
