Last week June 11,2024 I called Calia Lee Branch manager to inform her my parents were going in to close and account (because of fraudulent activity) and open a new account. I informed her that my parents were meeting each other there. My stepmother is in a nursing home I had to arrange for a driver to take her to the bank and wait to take her back. My Father would meet her there. I told her we wanted to close one account open another one and give my Father authority to ask questions on his wife's account since they have separate accounts. They are both elderly they are both 78 years old she has some health issues and my father has a small speech problem and he can barely walk he has to use a scooter. My Father has mentioned that Miss Cailia Lee has been rude and dismissive towards him each time he goes to the bank. On this day my parents were meeting each other there to take care of some things and they both needed to be there.. Please tell my why she only took my stepmother into the office and completly ignored my father? He thought they just needed a few minutes together and he went to the restroom. when he came out she was gone, my stepmother. They completed the transaction with out him getting authority to speak or ask on stepmothers account. We called to see if she had given my stepmother a debit card with the new account she said she could not give information on account. We all three of us my father, stepmother and I were on speaker phone and she could not understand my Father because of his speech and she hung up on us we tried this like three times. Next day I go into the Bank and speak to miss Calia Lee and ask where I could make a complaint against her. I went over the problem with her and she said she can not give me the number to corporate office to make a complaint and she would have them call me. A couple days later I called branch office and asked about my complaint to see if it had been forwarded. Summer answered she said Miss Lee told her to tell me that she would not forward my complaint and that they can not share account information with me. I asked summer if I could speak with Miss Lee she said no she will not be taking my calls...
So now here I am spilling my gutts because its taken me a week to find this site to make a complaint. My parents are elderly and need help with accounting needs she has made this very difficult. we will be looking for a new bank we will not put up with no one caring about the 20k plus we have put in these accounts.
Calia Lee is the branch manager for 9901 Grant street in Thornton Colorado. Shame on you miss Lee for treating my disabled parents badly and thank you for not forwarding my complaint we will find a new bank.
The employees at this branch are the very best. They all work quickly and diligently to complete any tasks and are friendly, helpful and attentive.
You should really take the Christian address off of this site. Since I was there last evening & to my surprise the bank nor the atm are there anymore. No notification to customers or anything! Believe I will be taking my money elsewhere. Because you have closed one location after the other over the years I've been with you now the next closest location isn't close enough or a safe enough area to walk with any money. It is a pretty bad neighborhood! And even that isn't walking distance.
On Saturday May 20, 2023 I went into the Academy Branch on 1650 Space Center Dr. Colorado Springs, CO 80915 around 11:40am. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes a young lady called me up (she was not wearing a name tag). I told her I'd like to order/exchange foreign currency for an upcoming trip. She said they do not do that there. I told her I checked the website beforehand and the website said "Visit your local branch to exchange foreign currency." She again said that they do not do that and that I should go to Wells Fargo. So either the young lady was lying or the website was lying.
Funny, I have banked with Academy Bank for years, where i bank in Colorado Springs, Colorado, it seems to be an excellent bank
I went to the Fountain, CO branch inside of Walmart on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 around 4:15pm with the intention of opening 2 basic minor savings accounts. I had checked ahead of time to ensure I had the correct paperwork. I approached the teller line when called up and stated my intentions and the lady gave me a look which at first I took as she didn't want to help me. Later I realized it was because she didn't know how to open a Basic Savings account for a minor. The lady's name tag said her name was Debra C. and that she was the Branch Manager. At first she had some issues with one or two of her programs not working. She attempted to get her coworker to "tag team it with her" (Debra's words). The coworker took some of my paperwork and attempted to start the process but kept stopping to help other customers walking up. (which is fine because Debra should have been helping me and the coworker should have been focused on the teller line) At one point when Debra and the coworker were discussing my accounts they kept saying the minors were not old enough for a Student Checking account. I corrected them multiple times stating I wanted a Basic Savings account for minors and again they were talking about the Student Checking account and how the minors weren't old enough for the account. I pulled up the accounts on my phone and showed the requirements of the Student Savings and showed it to Debra. She picked up the phone, called someone and they told her to open a Student Savings (which I had just showed her!). Debra continued to not listen to me and was entering incorrect information into the system for me and the minors. Coming up on an hour of sitting there the coworker needed an over ride, Debra went to complete that and saw one person waiting in line and left me to go help them. When Debra came back I informed her I needed to go and didn't realize it would take this long to open one basic account. Debra replied "Well we're almost done". Against my better judgment I stayed and 30-40 minutes later I was still there with nothing to show for it. She got stuck at one point and called 3 or 4 people (who were unable to help her). She was instant messaging someone on her computer and still received no help. After over an hour and a half I was extremely frustrated and insisted I get all of my paperwork back because I really had to go.
I sat there for an hour and a half got absolutely nothing done. The Branch Manager has no idea how to open a Basic Savings account for a minor. Isn't this something that should be required of all your staff on the teller line? This is absolutely ridiculous! This was a complete waste of my time.
On a side note, the coworker had a very low cut shirt and her breasts were spilling out of her shirt, especially when she bent over - this is completely unprofessional and she should not be wearing clothes like that in a place of business.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They very knowledgeable about my accounts and have great recommendations on what they can do to help us manage them. Jessica is amazing.
Im a new customer and need to use my checking account to have deposits made. I have been on hold for 2 hours. Guess i will drive up there and pull my money out? I unerstand the pandemic. Hire extra employees, have temps on call

My debit bank card was reported lost today not by me, what kind of shit is that? i have no transportation, as i live also 60 miles away from this bank, i demand that my card be restore inmediatly! Same f*cking numbers. There us conspiracy and control of lives in this survive the streets bank@
