Abington Bank, originally established as Pilgrim Co-operative Bank in 1916, operated for over a century in the banking industry. Initially not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the institution evolved significantly over the years. On January 26, 2010, it transitioned to a Cooperative Bank Stock organization type, and on February 21, 2019, it became a member of the Federal Reserve System, changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and its bank class to State Chartered Bank. The institution adopted the name Abington Bank on the same date and moved its main office to 6 Harrison Avenue, Abington, Massachusetts. Horrible rude ignorant staff at tg ed avon branch- should be ashamed of themselves. Asked for my card to be sent to the branch, which i was assured could be sone and 3 weels later i found out it was sent to my house. No call, no email nothing.
