History Of 1st Bank of Sea Isle City
1st Bank of Sea Isle City, originally established as the First Savings and Loan Association of Sea Isle City, New Jersey, in 1882, has undergone several name and organizational changes throughout its history. The institution was originally chartered as a mutual savings bank and was regulated by the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) until significant restructuring occurred in 1998, when it rebranded as First Bank of Sea Isle City. This transition included a change to a mutual savings bank organization type. In 2000, the bank further modified its name to 1st Bank of Sea Isle City and transitioned to a stock savings bank structure.
